The EMU represents AV in peak emergency management groups.
The unit organises paramedic support for over 300 major public events each year, including:
- Spring Racing Carnival
- F1 Grand Prix
- MotoGP
- New Year鈥檚 Eve celebrations
- Melbourne Ironman
- Around the Bay in a Day
- AFL finals series.
