A donation to the Maryborough 黄片视频 Auxiliary will provide additional training resources to local crews, furthering their skills and ability to provide best care on the frontline.

The Maryborough Highland Society recently donated over $1300 to the auxiliary in a remarkable show of support.

The donation was presented to auxiliary members at the Highland Society鈥檚 community fundraising event, with Maryborough 黄片视频 Auxiliary President Sandra Field blown away by the generosity.

鈥淲e are incredibly grateful to the community for their support and to the Highland Society for holding these events that provide locals with a platform to donate to worthwhile causes,鈥 she said.

鈥淒onations such as these allow our auxiliary to help bolster the resources available to the Maryborough branch and hardworking crews.

鈥淥ur community has always gone above and beyond to back the work we do, and their efforts have a direct impact on our highly skilled paramedics each day.鈥

黄片视频 auxiliaries play an integral role in providing their local branches and community with equipment and education, in addition to raising awareness of AV and the work of its people.

The donated funds have already gone towards upgrading the automated external defibrillator (AED) cabinet located on the wall of the branch, making the lifesaving device more accessible to the public, with the remaining money supporting the purchase of a paediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) manikin to further enhance local training.

Maryborough Team Manager Andrew Jochs said community-raised funds like these complement AV鈥檚 broader investment by helping branches tailor their resources to local needs.

鈥淭he new paediatric resource will mean our local Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedics have access to manikins representing patients in all stages of life, from newborns through to adults,鈥 he said.

鈥淚t鈥檚 an investment that will help improve the health and wellbeing of our local community and surrounding areas, by ensuring our paramedics have the skills necessary to respond to critical situations they may encounter on road.鈥

In addition to what is already provided by AV, donations and locally raised auxiliary funds allow communities like Maryborough to provide crews with specialised equipment, resources and advanced training, supporting staff to continue delivering high quality clinical care.

鈥淲e鈥檙e thankful for every contribution - big or small 鈥 as they all go towards investing in advanced training tools to help our paramedics provide the best service we can to the community,鈥 Andrew said.

Donations to AV greater than $2 are fully tax deductible and represent a community investment in Victoria鈥檚 future pre-hospital emergency health care.
